Happy Thursday everyone!
We are wrapping up for the day, and just to give you a sneak peak at what we do on a daily basis, I decided to take pictures of what goes around in our warehouse.
1) You see that pile of black hoodies? Since the fall season is coming up, more people are ordering couple hoodies... Every product is made to order, so we gotta stay really organized for us to make sure we don't get the orders mixed up. Stacking up clothes like this usually works, ironically.
2) Once the pile of clothes are printed individually, each piece of clothing are nicely folded and inserted into our signature brown box. The guys in the warehouse were camera-shy, so the most I got were their shy hands... But next time I will butter them up with compliments to get a better shot of them.
3-4) After the packaging and labeling is done, our products are once again stacked in piles, eagerly waiting to be picked up.
5) Say hello to Mr. Francisco, our super friendly mail carrier! He's the funniest and nicest postman we've ever met - when I told him he might become famous with this picture, he was so thrilled! I think deep down, he has a secretive desire to become a famous celebrity...
This is just a preview of what's to come in my future workplace postings... Next time I'll make sure I expose you to more revealing and detailed scenes of our employees and maybe even the office...
Now, I must go and finish MY stack of work... Good night everyone!
A best friend is like a four leaf clover - hard to find, and lucky to have.

Today I want to talk about one of the beautiful sceneries you can find near the city of Los Angeles, California. Yes, there are several exciting venues to go visit like the Universal Studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Rodeo Drive, but these places are a bit cliché, don't you think? Now, my goal here is to introduce you to wonderful venues that are less widely-known, yet are must-go-see places for couples, friends, and family. I apologize in advance if the venues I talk about are too focused on areas near Los Angeles. This is what happens when there's a rise in gas prices and you drive a car that loves consuming fuel, making you take frequent stops at the gas stations.
Venice, Italy is every girl's dream land - well, technically it's Paris, France but let's just pretend that Italy is for now. Some of you lucky ones will be fortunate enough to visit Venice in the future, but for now there's a place you can settle for fraction of the cost, yet as beautiful as the real Italy. Considered the little Italy of Southern California, Venice Canal Historic District is man-made canals built in 1905 by a developer named Abbot Kinney. Although it's located in the city of Los Angeles near the Venice Beach, you'd be surprised to find out how little people are familiar with this town. It might be due to the fact that it's hard to find this hidden treasure - you have to pass through a small pathway for you to discover this beautiful mini Venice. This district has had many ups and downs as far as maintaining its beautiful scenery that it holds today, and after a huge renovation in 1993 this place is considered one of the most desirable and expensive residential section of the city.
This place is where art of history and modern times coexist. Because the town itself is quite old, many of its landmarks still maintain the historical nature, whereas many houses in the area have been renovated to give more modern ambiance. The harmony of historical and modern age creates a remarkable view that's like candy to our eyes. From the peaceful channel that runs through the town to lovely walkways and gardens, this is a must-go romantic venue for couples of all ages.
If you're looking for a chance to confess your love, how about taking your crush to the Kiss Bridge (the one you see in the picture above)? Of the several bridges here in the Venice Canals, rumor has it that your love will come true with the person that you kiss on this bridge.
Once you enjoy the tranquility at the Venice Canals with your loved one, walk about 5-10 minutes down and the Venice Beach awaits you. Pack yourself a nice lunch and take a mini trip to this little Italy where you'll be greeted by stunning views of your own "secret garden". Forget Downtown Los Angeles, I would live here any day if I had the chance... and the money to afford a house and a personal gondola.
Until next time,
